    Default Worried/Sad faces everywhere.......

I had the day off of work today so I did some running around. Everywhere I stopped the vast majority of people seemed off to me. Not as many smiles and alot of gloomy faces. Wallmart was first. No I didn't OC. I always CC. Everyone kinda just going through the motions.

I then ran to my favorite gunstore. I couldn't believe how many people where there before noon! And I couldn't believe what type of people were there! Many older retirement age folks plus a few working class like myself. I saw what could only be politely refered to as a "fudd" checking out a Yugo underfolder!!! Older folk asking about ARs and Sig 556s! I didn't know what to do or how to act. I just kinda stood there with a dumb look on my face I guess. In the hour I was there 3 ARs went out the door and an AK. I was told dozens of EBRs have been sold in the last week alone. But everyone I saw there was talking. No smiles really but talking. Worried about where the country is headed. What I estimate to be a 65-70 year old Fudd stated he wouldn't go down quietly!(as he fondled a the Yugo)

Is this how people are everywhere in PA? I must say I thought it was just us younger guys that were a bit uptite about things. I got a reality check today.

I then stopped at Cabellas on the was home. More of the same. A crowd huddled at the gun counter. Right in front of the EBRs and high cap pistols. at 2PM! Taking numbers! People askig about this one or that one. How long till this comes in.....?

Does anyone else have any stories about this? I would like to know is this feeling shared across the state or do I just live in a Rep cluster?

Funny.. where I live, I saw the complete 100% opposite.

I've never seen people so happy, or so excited about politics before.

I'm in the Reading area too. I noticed the same. Everyone looked like their mom just died. Very strange. What gun store were you at?

Yah. I'm feeling it myself. Not happy.

Look at any election results map of PA and you will see a lot of Red except for Philadelphia/Pittsburgh + surrounding burbs.

55 million people have been disenfranchised.

That's because the people in Philly are the ones IMHO that did the state in during the vote. If only we can get that big saw, cut Philly loose and push it over to NJ..........

Bingo! Every time I feel like my state let me down, I just remind myself that the residents of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh let me down, not the entire state of Pennsylvania.

Funny, When I moved to PA in 2005, I saw the same thing every day. Gloomy faces, no smiles, no one saying 'good morning'. I thought that was just the way of life up here.

I noticed no difference in people today.
