While the PSP should have changed their policy based on the precedent set by McCaffery and the later work done in 2019 by Sig4life in Sama, I would spend a few bucks and have either one of our two esteemed lawyers make a few calls to PSP in Harrisburg.

I'm sure AG (Acting Gestapo) Shapiro pushes back wherever he can, and after some of the crap PSP pulled when a buddy's conviction was vacated by a federal judge (with the threat of tossing the county DA in prison if he wasn't released from SCI I might add), I wouldn't want to take chances...

    Update:

With only a pardon, and not an expungement or 6105(d) relief, I tried to buy a gun on March 27 and was put into research. After the 15 day period (I think it may have actually been day 17), it came back undetermined.

PSP got my challenge form and supporting documents on 4/21. I got a reversal letter dated 4/23 today. **

So the answer is no, 6105(d) relief not necessary, Pennsylvania pardon alone does it.

Requiring LTCF, submissions to NICS (aka FBI evaluation), delays, denials, appeal processes all despite SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED, and you want the infringements to make sense?

Congrats on arriving at a point in citizenship that is "guaranteed" by both constitutions. I'm still looking for the fine print that must be somewhere in those documents.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Have you tried purchasing a second firearm, yet?

I did. The reversal letter says that the seller should call in and tell the PICS operator that I have a reversal letter, but he did the check online and it went through no problem. Went 'pending' for a moment and then 'approved'. Didn't have to talk with anyone.
