I'll be there behind a table helping out a few buddies. Might take a few things, might not. Probably won't look around too much. Still haven't gotten the NEETbux and I need to start squirreling away cash for stuff I want for the 'Nam re-enactment this summer.

easier said than done. if you would like to start your own promotions business and fork over hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it started up and create contracts with venues, purchase mega liability insurance, get the word out and advertise, make sure you dont screw up vendor tables, etc. please let everyone know. after a few years you might be bale to get a decent show rolling but you would still have people bitch about sock and stun gun vendors at your show. I wish there was an easy way to accomplish what you are suggesting but unfortunately there is not. I am aware of some things in motion but like I said....it isn't easy and they might have a rude awakening coming their way. or, maybe they can get some things done and get a new show schedule rolling. who knows.

glad to see that JSD is back. however, you should know that many dealers attending the show have no brick and mortar stores.

Since when? Back in the '90s , I had to give up my Type 1 FFL because home FFLs were no longer issued. You had to have an 'approved' fixed place of business with posted 'open to the public' hours , no zoning problems , secure separate entrance from living areas , local police sign-off and a few other hoops.

Last summer there was a Vietnam re-enactment out by Newville at the GWA trenches. "Private" event, so it wasn't some demonstration event like what a museum or an air show would have. Lots of walking and some shooting of blanks.
