How long before a plea deal for probation instead of incarceration? COVID keeps people out of jail nowadays. A criminal just being a criminal.

And that right there is a yuuuuuggge part of the problem. Combine that with jail not being an undesirable place to be and there is no deterrent so the only answer is to take guns away from the law abiding people.

I would like to see the real numbers but I would guess that the number of crimes committed with so-called ghost guns could be counted on one hand. I just don't see most gang bangers with the skills, time or patience to make and assemble their own ghost guns. Especially when it is easier and cheaper I would imagine to just buy a stolen or straw bought handgun. I don't think bangers care much about serial numbers or the lack thereof since the firearms they might use in a crime are not going to be traced back to them ever. Its not like they ran out to the LGS to buy their pistol legally.
