Re: Big USPSA rule change: lights and AIWB now legal for CO and production
Im sure it will take some time to catch on with the dedicated shooters but it will appeal to those who are casual competitors or first timers and it matches the way they carry.
Im going to bet that in a few years it will be 50/50 AIWB vs strong side.
I know all my friends who shoot a few matches a year will switch to AIWB for USPSA.
Im comfortable and competent drawing from strong side or AIWB. Im still young and my brain can manage lol.
I’m going to a night shoot tonight and I’m going to use my USPSA speed belt set up with my concealed carry AIWB holster and see how it feels.

Definitely challenging to use the thick CR speed inner and outer competition belt set up with an AIWB holster but I think it’s worth hashing out.

Re: Big USPSA rule change: lights and AIWB now legal for CO and production
Well now that the season is wrapping up I have to say the rule change didn’t change much, other than my holster and mag pouches are a smidge more forward. I gave up on AIWB pretty quick, and the light came off sooner after. The holster just didn’t work well with my belt and the light made no difference. Another year closer to A class though!

I don’t think it changed much. I saw some guys messing with lights but not many. I didn’t see many appendix holsters either. Lots of folks moved their holsters forward but not beyond the 2 o’clock. It really panned out to be much about nothing I think

Biggest change I saw was placement of mag pouches and magnets
