Default HB 702 - Gun Show Loophole (it says)

For some reason I'm unable to explain the verbiage of this bill doesn't match the memo. But it does extend the requirement for background check to all firearms.

    House Bill 702
Short Title: An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for sale or transfer of firearms.

    Memo: Gun Show Loophole

It seems to be another ignorant attempt to put restrictions on the law abiding citizen. It*s obvious she is parroting the mantra that illegal guns are being purchased at gun shows. Where is her experience to back this up? There is none. Another feel good bill she is pushing requires a safety class prior to purchasing a firearm. By the PSP no less! What a total failure. She has no clue about this field and is only a pandering clod. You can*t even reach these folks anymore, fb account didn*t link, email didn*t link up, etc. only get a machine answering the phones.

Absolutely no legislation put forward regarding illegal activities, or anything. Only bills to further impede law abiding citizens. SMH

I do not know the significance of the highlighted section but I expect that the underlined is new language. It looks to me like one PICS check is good for up to 48 hours with proper documentation.

Yes, but only at the same dealer at the same gun show, so it really means shit for all practical purposes.

Print it up and drop it to the gang-banger's hangouts, so we may be assured of their compliance if it passes. Just be careful you don't get caught littering.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Makes you really wonder what level of donations they receive from the gun grabbers for introducing this BS every year

Highlighted (shaded) means removed from the final bill, they want to take out the part the makes a and c only apply to firearms as defined (generally pistols and short barrels) which means pic checks for everything.

OK, and anytime we buy from a dealer we get that anyway. Their lack of any idea what they're passing legislation on is mind boggling.
