No flats, I had all the tools and supplies necessary to fix one, so obviously wouldn't have one. We had to cut it short, though. My wife is on medication, and one of the side-affects (which she forgot about) is an extreme sensitivity to sun, and a proclivity to quick sunburn. We rode 15 miles, until she felt it, and remembered the medication, so we packed up the bikes, went to Appalachian Brewery for some food and beer, then to Garryowen Irish Pub to wrap things up.

I'm not voting for Oz because he's not the guy I wanted and I'm not voting for Trump ever again because he's the one who gave us the Oz.

From this source (I added them up) https://www.electionreturns.pa.gov/ only 1,345,930 of the 3.450,289 registered republicans voted (for a senate candidate). That's a net negative of -2,104,359. There were 1,349,196 republican votes cast for governor so the number is about the same.

Well over two million republican voters didn't vote in the 2022 primary. That's 33% more than those that voted.

How can we possibly blame the establishment for winding up with OZ? How many of those 2+ million might have voted for Barnette had they voted? Sure, some of those votes would have gone to OZ and McCormick but until there is a better turnout among voters in the primary, blaming the establishment that an unfavorable candidate won and then not voting in the general election because my guy didn't win in the primary is missing the bigger problem of how to motivate people to vote in the primary.

The primary is where we are shooting ourselves in the foot.

It's a well known fact that the party establishment doesn't want good turnout in the primary. We punish the establishment by voting in the primary.

My point had nothing to do with the ideological leaning of a given candidate and everything to do with voter participation so as to fulfill the ideal of democracy in action re: "the people have spoken" rather than "some of the people have spoken". And the vote tally data suggests that the governor's race was far more competitive than the senate race, which does support my point.

What political issue do you expect oz to vote differently than fetterman?

How does voting for a fake conservative help get real conservative candidates in the future?

Why does the Republican party keep turning liberal tv personalities into their political candidates?

The supreme court ruling on roe v Wade will bring out the highest number of dem voters in decades because murdering babies is one of their most important values. What issue is going to bring R voters? Hell the 2a community can not even agree, fuds are for another awb.

Gas prices are going down just in time for election cycle. The price of everything is up, but that is trump's or covids fault if you listen to any broadcast news.

Because of the razor thin margin in the senate. Oz will not waste political capital going against the grain when it comes to important party-line votes on big bills. That' is the difference between voting for Oz and sitting it out and letting Lurch win.

Republicans aren't a particularly attractive choice for me, but I learned long ago that at least they're a better choice ( generally ) than the Banana Republicans on the other side.

Figured I'd spice things up a bit since Oz vs Fettermen is getting repetitive.
The honest answer to this hypothetical question is multi-faceted. It depends. I would have to look at the alternative and decide which was worse. I would have to look at the short and long term effects and goals. If this seat constituted a far reaching party swing, I might have to go with such a candidate. If the short term effect was minimal and the long term effect was her removal from office, I would go with her opponent. If I lived in Quakertown area, I would look hard at Fitzpatrick and would quite possible even vote for a Dem there if it didn't give The House to the Dems.

But we can all thank JAKIII for his participation in landing us with Oz in the first place.
