I only read the article, but the take away is that Breitbart really does not like Barnette.

That*s the general feeling I*ve gotten from the Breitbart articles I*ve read although the interview itself was good and fair.

Here is how my PA Senate primary options work out

Kathy Barnette is my pick. The idea thst she can't beat Skrek after his stroke while he campaigns in shorts and sweatshirts about socialism is laughable. Especially in 2022 with the red wave boosting her.

Dave McCormick is a globalist Bush type. I'm not excited about him but I could live with it if he won. I'd look forward to the 2028 primaries to find someone better but I could stomach it for now.

Dr. Oz.... hard pass. Just no way on this planet would I ever vote for him in the general election. I'd rather have the socialist Fetterman who openly tells me his dumb ideas than the Holywood phony friend of Oprah rino who tells me he supports my values then goes and votes socialist anyway. Not just no, but hell no.

However.... I'm not as quick to dismiss the whole "smash weiner in the dictionary thing" as some others because I am adventurous like that.

I'll hold my nose, support and vote for a shitty republican who wins the primary. Regardless of your opinion of a shitty republican, does not showing up to vote for him or her help us at all?

    In the long run, yes.

If we keep voting for crappy glibalist republicans because that is all they offer us then they will never offer us an actual conservative

They will continue to take your vote for granted and never meet the actual needs of your family

If ymthey start losing because they run globalist candidates who can't pull conservative support, then they will start giving more conservative candidates

I do see the merits in this argument but I don't think I'll be pushing the strategy just yet.

With Fetterman you know he is going to fuck over gun owners. With Oz you don't know. It's likely that he will in one way or another, but maybe not. If it came down to those two in November, I'm going with the maybe because that's more than I'll get from the gun grabbing Socialist. PA cannot afford to have two Democrat Senators. We just can't.

There are no merits in it because people say this every election cycle and nothing changes. You take what you get now. There is no long game.

And that is why we keep getting crappier options to choose from.

We get crappy options because crappy people run for office. Crappy people ALWAYS run for office. This is nothing new and will never change. Ever.
