It's a reversible jacket.

Likely flipped it after the shooting to avoid identification.

Hard to believe that van would not be widely known and found easily in the neighborhood where they live. Not to mention the need for medical attention for the gsw to the foot. I'm guessing when they find him there won't be any ccw on file. And I'd hazard a guess that the firearm was not a legal purchase either. Wonder if the news media will cover that and if local law enforcement/court system will charge him and actually put him away for more than a week or two?

He shot himself in the foot. Where's the crime? Fuck him, leave him alone. As a taxpayer, I have no interest in prosecuting his case for possibly not having a license that shouldn't be required to begin with.
