Just stumbled across this amazing gun!
I'll post the video I saw initially, followed by one by Forgotten Weapons, which will go into more detail.

Hey EM, can you tell me what it's about?
I don't have time to watch - I'm busy posting about Joe Biden in a thread that has nothing to do with Joe Biden.
Have you tried the chili at Wendy's?
Sigh. I think this forum has jumped the shark as far as firearm discussion goes.

I skipped through the videos, lots of talk, not much shooting.

Re: The American 180 .22LR Submachine Gun
A friend had an American 180 select fire .22 and it was a Jam-O-Matic on anything but CCI Mini-Mags. And once it got crudded up with 22 LR bullet lube and products of combustion, it jammed on the CCI stuff.
Still, a fun toy.

Re: The American 180 .22LR Submachine Gun
I predicted that you had either owned one or shot one.
It's amazing how many kinds of guns there are in existence.
I mean, I essentially have no other hobbies/interests that I'm into as much as firearms, and there are all sorts of guns I've never seen before.

Re: The American 180 .22LR Submachine Gun
I don't pay much attention to them but on Uzitalk they get some mention. I think they go for $8k to 10K these days, maybe more.
I have heard they are finicky to run and as I recall like a lot of NFA, the original company is gone. E&L Manufacturing(who I have bought stuff from) they seem to make and supply parts for it.
Certainly would be fun to shoot.
