Re: Obama and the Military
Obama made some promises to do good for our troops, and I hope he keeps them. It's deplorable that there are homeless veterans.

Yeah, money won't be as good, and the weapons and technology? Well, you better get used to hand-me-downs. He's made it clear that he isn't going to invest in new technology/equipment.
But at least the world respects us now. Right?
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Obama and the Military
I may disagree with Obama as commander in chief.. but the way I see it, im serving the American people.
I just hope the troops still get what they need to keep the fight unfair.

Re: Obama and the Military
I did 4 in the Corps. Was in from 86-90. 2 Glorious years under Ronaldus Magnus (Reagan) and 2 under Bush the elder. Tons of ammo to shoot and so much training every time we got home it was like a honeymoon all over again.
Had buddies who stayed in and after 12 years in the Corps with only 8 to go to get a pension got out when Clinton took over. No money for training. Ammo??? Richard Marcinco(sp) the leader of Seal Team 6 writes in a lot of his books that 6 used to shoot more ammo in training anually than the entire USMC. Under Clinton I don't doubt that at all.
If you are going in I would go NOW. Get in there before he starts his cutting of the Military. Then you can say you remember it when... If you can't go soon I think you will be hard pressed to even get in if he starts cutting back the military.
good luck and keep your head down.

LOL
He also said he supported gunowners....oh oh oh oh that was in W. Virginia....In San Francisco it was something like PA gun and bible clingers.
FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
The only thing you can believe out of the mouth of O is that he will follow through on stealing your wallet. And people still voted for this. I think we all fell down a rabbit hole.

Massive Palestinian missile fire from Gaza Wednesday morning
November 5, 2008, 7:43 AM (GMT+02:00)
The Palestinian barrage amid the Barack Obama victory rally in Chicago followed a battle that erupted Tuesday night when an Israeli armored force crossed 250 meters deep into the Gaza Strip following intelligence of a tunnel dug by Hamas near Al Bureij leading to an Israel military position at the Kissufim border.
Its purpose was to kidnap more Israeli soldiers, two and half years after Gilead Shalit's abduction. Four IDF soldiers were injured, 2 moderately, 2 lightly.
Residents of the Israeli towns within range of Gaza were ordered to stay in shelters.
This was the first Israeli incursion of Gaza since a truce was signed in June. Tuesday night, upon reaching the building where the tunnel opening was located, the soldiers ran into a Hamas ambush. In the exchange of fire, the building blew up, apparently packed with explosives. One Hamas gunmen was killed and four were injured. There were no Israeli casualites.
The Palestinians then shot 7 mortar rounds into Israel, whereupon an Israeli Air Force helicopter went into action and killed five Palestinian mortarmen.
Israel has termed the operation an isolated incident not intended to terminate the six-month Gaza ceasefire which expires December 18. Hamas denied the tunnel's existence, called the attack a clear truce violation and threatened reprisals
