Re: So Carjackings are a thing these days...
With more New Yorkers back behind the wheel, carjackers are putting the pedal to the metal.
The number of carjackings as of Sept. 19 are up 81 percent, with 324 reported so far this year, compared to 179 in the same 2020 timeframe. The number is a whopping 277 percent spike from 2019, when NYPD data showed just 86 such incidents.
A recent carjacking caught on video shows just how violent such incidents can be.

According to police, carjackings are up citywide more than 120 percent this year over last with cases surpassing 500. Anyone walking to, exiting, or sitting inside their vehicles can become a target. Sources say the carjackers are getting bolder and younger. Out of 88 arrests this year, 56 of the suspects were under 18.

Re: So Carjackings are a thing these days...
I predict an increase, in all large Dem-controlled cities, of career criminals being justifiably killed by their victims, but the victims simply dumping the bodies somewhere else.
Why be a victim twice? First, some frequent flyer sticks a gun in your face so you have to defend yourself. Then, some Soros-enabled loony in the DA's office prosecutes you for defending yourself.
I don't recommend it, the act of dragging a corpse a few blocks away and stuffing it behind a potted plant makes you look guilty, to pretty much any potential juror. But so does defending yourself, to the woke.
So while I don't encourage it, I expect to see it anyway.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com
