It's not just Philly - Chiraq is in the playoffs as well.
Meanwhile, the number of carjackings through the first month of 2021 exploded with 218 vehicular hijackings reported, compared to 77 in January 2020, according to CPD data. That*s an increase of 183%.

Even more food for thought, including this -
Driving away from danger is always the best option. To preserve that option, don’t tailgate. When you stop behind another car, make sure you can see the rear tires so you’ll have enough turning radius to drive around if necessary.

Generally carjackings can be avoided by not driving in philthy cities.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

When wasn't it a thing? Especially in Philly where vehicular homicide is one of the preferred methods of murder.

Anybody saw the white officer kicking the black suspect a couple of times while he was down already? I am calling for a riot, I need sneakers. Then one officer lead him away with his pants down. Why were his pants down?

Some folks have to drive in the city. Some folks even want to live in the city. It*s not for everybody, but living in the sticks isn*t for everybody either.
BTW I have driven in the city since about 1980 and have never been carjacked. Not even in a blue & white or all white
