Yay, good guy Feds got some!

Romero announced that Bruce Alexander, 19, and Naseem Williams, 21, both of Philadelphia, PA, were charged by Indictment for their roles in three different carjacking incidents which occurred this past summer. A-yo! Nuther one for ya.

According to police, the 43-year-old male victim had been driving his Mercedes in the northbound outer lanes when he was flagged down by people on the side of the road who appeared to need assistance.

Instead, police say, those same people approached the driver with guns. There was a struggle and the victim was shot in the back. The two male suspects then got into the man's Mercedes and took off northbound on the 400 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.
There has been a surge in carjackings across Philadelphia in 2022. A 6abc analysis shows 1,298 reported so far this year. That's a 64% increase over 2021.

I have found that driving a s*itty vehicle significantly reduces the chances of being carjacked. Why carjack a 12 y/o Ford truck when the guy 3 spots over has a new Navi?

Dodge Chargers are very popular with car jackers lately.
