Imagine if Nutter or Street were in office as mayor now, unlike Kenney,I doubt that either of them would mince words publicly in their assessment of the DA.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) * A man has been charged after police say he tricked a driver to steal his car, then led officers on a chase before ramming into a state trooper*s vehicle on Christmas Day.

Just before noon on Dec. 25, a West Goshen police officer responded to a report of a *suspicious person* on North Five Points Road, near Fern Hill Road, in Chester County.

The victim told officers that a man was lying in the road, so he stopped and got out of his car to see if the man was OK. Then, officials say, the man jumped up, got in the Samaritan*s car and sped away.

Philly needs another Rizzo with canine and horseback units and top officials with nightsticks in their cummerbunds but there needs to be a real DA that will lock up violent actors and that's just not going to happen under Larry Soros.

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

Hijackers seized a UPS big rig, kidnapping its driver and stealing an untold number of packages, during a brazen heist Tuesday in Atlanta, authorities said.

The attack unfolded at about 3:30 a.m. EST when the UPS truck was stopped at a traffic light at Fulton Industrial Blvd NW and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway NW and a gunman got into the vehicle, police said.

That assailant then forced the UPS employee to drive to a secluded area near Hollowell and Bankhead Court NW where "the suspect, along with others, tied the victim up and stole cargo from the tractor trailer," according to an Atlanta police statement.

They'll blame the driver for not having his doors locked.

WEST PHILADELPHIA - Two suspects in an armed carjacking are in the hospital after police say they attempted to take a vehicle from a Lyft who was armed with a gun he was licensed to carry on Monday afternoon in West Philadelphia. Officials said the shooting happened on the 4200 block of Parkside Avenue Monday, just before 2:45 in the afternoon.
A Lyft driver, with a passenger, was rear-ended twice, according to authorities. When the driver stopped and got out, two men got out of their vehicle with a gun and demanded the Lyft driver's vehicle.
The driver then got his passenger out and one of the two suspects took control of the vehicle.
Investigators said the Lyft driver was licensed to carry a firearm and proceeded to fire his weapon at the suspect who took his car and the accomplice in the other vehicle. He hit both suspects, according to official accounts.
One of the two men was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by police and placed in critical condition. The other was also hospitalized, though his condition is unknown.
Police say the Lyft driver was not shot, and a rifle had been pointed at him during the encounter.
