Would this bother you guys? (Larue lower receiver) *UPDATE FROM LARUE ON PG. 4*

I recently purchased a lower from Larue Tactical. I noticed ‘noise dots’ for lack of a better term around the laser engraved logo. Would you guys consider this a blemish? I know most people don’t notice things such as this, but unfortunately, I do.

This wasn’t a cheap receiver by any stretch, and at its price-point, I do expect it to be precise. I thought about contacting them and asking for a swap as I do hear they’re customer service is great, but I feel like they will think I’m crazy.

If this was a cheaper receiver I couldn’t care less, but this isn’t going to be a rifle I’m gonna beat on, gonna be more of a precision bench gun.

I would. There are way too many imperfections, although they don*t interfere with operations of the rifle it is still poorly constructed. If it was something like an Anderson I wouldn*t mind, but a top quality item should be perfect.

For that price, absolutely I'd complain. The image posted on their page for that item shows no such characteristics, so I'd expect the ones received would not have them either.

The reason the quality of EVERYTHING these days is total shit is because too many people accept it.

At their price, it should have been perfect! The person that passed it thru QC needs a kick in the ass. They should send you a range bag or some gift of some sort for your trouble.

And fuck that "they might think you're cray" shit. They gotta do better!
