Call and see what they can do to correct the situation.

Re: Would this bother you guys? (Larue lower receiver)
The upright on the L has no "starting point". Neither does the upright on the R. I can't believe a manufacturer would accept that condition if it were to be on display at the Shot Show, for example. I've seen products advertised and sold as blems that defied detection. This is pretty bad, in my opinion.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Doing that jagged , irregular logo line on a CNC ain't easy. Probably done during deburring. Looks like they might have a few pieces of steel ''shot-peening'' beads in the glass-beading mix. Form follows function. It's an AR lower receiver fer crissakes! I've seen Colt's with bigger oopsies!
I don't speak English , I talk American!

Re: Would this bother you guys? (Larue lower receiver)
Would it bother me absolutely not for the fact I would never pay extra to have someones name on it.
Its honesty hard to mess up a AR lower. Why pay 100-200 more for someone to put a name on it.
Its a tool not a piece of art treat it that way.

I just checked mine and there are no blemishes like you have shown. I would call them but they might be shutdown due to the weather in TX...

Jmho
1. I buy guns to use them. I am bothered by functional, not cosmetic, deficiencies. Just because this is how I would address the issue, does not mean I am critical of your priorities.
2. What was your intended use for the lower?
3. Do the manufacturing imperfections affect your intended use?
4. What is your goal in raising the concern?
5. Is your goal in raising the concern consistent with your intended use?
I would consider the above in determining "if" and "how" you approach the communication with LaRue.
I think highly of LaRue products.
GD on another board "doesn't like him". Then again GD on that board "doesn't like" a lot of people.
I would have a goal, stick to the goal, and consider my doing business or not doing business with LaRue in the future, based upon your consideration of how important this is to you, how you approach the issue, and how far you want to push the point with the manufacturer.
YMMV
