    Default Kimber revolvers ...

Anyone have any experience/thoughts with the Kimber K6S DA/SA revolver?

I am of the opinion that they are fantastic, if the build quality is spot on. There were some initial quality issues which I believe were sorted out. The design of the K6s solved a lot of issues with other manufacturers revolvers. These wheel guns are solid.

Antique design. Low capacity for a revolver. 7 rounds of .357 is a standard now. Nothing in .44 mag.

My nephew has one and really likes it. I have not had the opportunity to shoot it.

I handled a few of them at the NRA Convention several years ago. Not surprising but it felt great in the hand. That is my limited knowledge.

I liked my Kimber K6S enough to get the DA/SA. In my opinion, it's a beautiful revolver. Fit and finish is first rate...trigger is awesome, too.

A couple things I like. First, Kimber uses allen head socket screws. Very little chance of the tool slipping out...unlike a slotted screw. I also like how the crane opens and doesn't contact the frame.

Please let me know which revolvers, of the Kimber K6S size (S&W K-frame sized, and smaller), hold 7 rounds?

I would hardly say "7 rounds of .357 is a standard now", and frankly would say that is a false statement.

7 rounds of .38/.357 requires a S&W L-frame sized revolver, or bigger, which certainly is not a revolver size that I'm going to EDC.

    YMMV

The Taurus Tracker is K-frame sized and offers a 7 round capacity in .357 magnum.

I have a 692SS, can confirm it fits into a K frame holster.

I will agree it's not really a standard though, I don't know of any other revolvers this small that also offer 7 rounds in .357 mag

Fair enough, and thank you for informing me/us of this.
