Pretty soon, an "assault weapon" will be anything that uses a cartridge.

It is not an assault Weapon UNTIL you use to ASSAULT some one with it!!!. A hammer is used to drive nails into lumber UNLESS it is used to hit a human being, THEN the hammer becomes an ASSAULT weapon. The list is almost endless, a book, a clip board, a crow bar, a pencil, a Mag light flashlight, Almost any thing can be used outside of its intended use, at that time It can be considered an " Assault weapon".

The term Assault Weapon has become weaponized by those that do not appreciate or like Firearms. It is their intent to demonize those that do like/appreciate them. They seek to alienate all legal firearm owners from the rest of the uninformed general public. They intend to use the general publics ignorance to their advantage. As far as 'They" are concerned ALL MSR's are assault weapons, as are Glocks, AK's, 'High capacity CLIPS: rolleyes: and any other firearm or related part or accessory. They can all KMA.
We the people love our country so let the government fear us.
