Nice safe and collection. Never saw somebody store them upside down though...either brilliant or crazy...possibly both.

Puts the handiest hand hold at easiest grab. Cool!
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I definitely did watch their videos. I've seen plenty of safe videos. But theirs make moving it looks easy. That said, I'm paying up have mine moved. I just got hernia surgery. Don't need to go through that again.

I am nowhere near pittsburgh. I understand your point. But having dealt with craigslist people before and gone through the efforts to set up moving a safe with a professional company, it is just adding more bullshit to the already tedious process of getting a safe into your house.

I bought my safe sight unseen on Craigslist. They agreed to deliver it for another $100 (to garage). I sent the pictures to my wife, so she would know what it was supposed to be. They delivered as agreed, no issues.

They also underlisted what they actually had. I got a $4000 safe instead of the $2000 safe I was expecting, and I got it for $1100, delivered. I was quite pleased when I saw what I got a few minutes later when I came to town.

I didn't mention getting my Sturdy Safe in place in the garage, but it was fairly easy. Do hire a couple of strapping young men to help if you've had a hernia, no need for professionals, frankly. Get a couple of gun aficionados who can keep their mouths shut. You move it around on rollers like he does in this video, my buddy and I used 1" PVC pipe, believe it or not. Broom handle works, too. It really is not difficult to get it into place. If you have to move it any distance, go to a Total Tool Rental place or similar and get a heavy duty hand truck with straps.

The fellow who helped me is the head of facilities at my wife's school, and very handy. We wrestled it into place easy peasy, then he built that nice cabinet around it for me. I'm not that handy, but he's amazing.

I was just thinking the same thing. That never even occurred to me over the years.

I'm not going and taking a picture, but I kept the cardboard box, cut the "back" and "bottom" off, turned it inside out (because the outside has a picture of a safe on it), and slid it over the safe.
I took a Sharpie marker and wrote "Old Christmas Tree" on it, and put some duct tape along the edges where a box would typically be taped shut.
I found it awkward to have to slide it off to open it up, so I ended up cutting along the one side and making a "door" in the cardboard, so the front can be opened by pulling a piece of duct tape loose that holds it closed.

I also covered up some ammo cans stored next to it with cardboard boxes.
Yep. "Christmas Ornaments" and "Christmas Lights".
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

My father stored our trap guns like that. He said it kept the recoil pads from getting ruined.
