LaRue Backorder Duration

As I expected I was hit with a backorder notification on a LaRule MBT-2S order about an hour after I placed the order. Just curious if anyone has gotten one recently, what type of delay should I expect on this?

Last year, i ordered some stuff from Larue. One of the items triggered a backorder notification. The rest of the order shipped. All of the items were in the box including the "backordered" item.

It took almost 3 months for me to get my complete Upper kit...I was told differently when I called on the status on it after a month. I was told 4 to 6 months...lol

My lower came in a little over week after ordering. The ultimate upper kit is 4-6 months out.

The Upper kit worth it though...especially the price in today's market

That*s one of the better deals around for sure. Not much more than what m&p sports are selling for right now. I already have a predatAR so another will compliment it nicely.

Ordered a MBT-2S on Dec 7th for a Christmas gift. Cancelled the order last week as I was tired of waiting. You're screwed OP.

They didn't even have the courtesy to send me a back order notice. Had to keep checking the order manually. After a month (so already missed Christmas) I emailed them and they said another 2-4 weeks. At the four week mark I told them unless it was shipping that very day they could fuck off, I was tired of waiting.

Spend the money and get a Gisselle. You know you're getting bent over but at least you'll actually get your shit.

You're looking at about an 8 week delay as LaRue is swamped.
