Another big auction at Shirks Feb 20th, online

Maybe 150 guns or so? 500 lots total, give or take. Ammo, reloading and various wildlife mounts. Bunch of Fox and Parker double barrels, bunch of Savage 99s. Rest is a good mix. Not much tactical stuff. Few nice S&W and Ruger revolvers. Prices already high on some, low/fair on others. Know some of yous faired alright last auction

Welcome to the world of gun auctions. They're pretty shit when stuff is plentiful, let alone during a panic.

Unless you have endless deep pockets the average person will only be able to walk away from gun auctions with a bolt action 410 shotgun for double what it was brand new. One of the worst ways to buy a gun. Sellers get bent over too by the auction houses.

I have to disagree , I have mad some really good buys on guns at auctions . Estate auctions where they are selling household , real estate etc. have yielded some really good buys . When its total guns and nothing but guns not as likely to get a deal, as the collectors are there !
