That would also include the Army. Training, to include annual qualifications, was required regardless of primary MOS. Every member has a "default" MOS of 11B, which was a basic infantryman, or what we referred to as "cannon fodder" or grunt. We also had assigned weapon(s).

Not just MOS but rank also. I had to qualify my Commanding General with his personal sidearm.
