Hi fellows, the first thing I did was to stick the copper covered projectile into the end of the barrel as suggested. It went in and there was 1/4 of an inch between the end of the barrel and the beginning of the case, I'm not sure what that means. The gunsmith I took it to years ago said that was shot a lot.
The second thing I did was check bolt, the serial number matches the rest of the numbers on the rifle. I tried to take some pictures but that didn't work out. When my kids buzzes by with his iPhone, I will take some good ones, mine didn't reveal any details at all. Joe
