To anyone pointing to black powder. It's a fun mental exercise, but it's a pipe dream. If you even remotely consider using black powder in SHTF, you need to rethink your approach. There's a reason it hasn't been used in any real application in 120+ years.
How did you manage to ship primers? Proper hazmat license is required to ship primers.

Percussion caps are about 100x as reliable as flintlocks.
You can buy black powder guns without FFL paperwork.
You can buy kits and DIY.
There is a niche for these tools.
