    Default EDC'ing a revolver in 2021...

My EDC is most often either my Sig P320 or Glock 19. That's nothing out of the ordinary, however my S&W 686 has been one of my all-time favorite's, and I just love the action and ergonomics of this firearm. It's rather difficult to keep a revolver from "printing," mainly due to the cylinder so, it's normally in jacket weather that I'll sport the 686.

Does anyone else have a revolver that they occasionally EDC?

    Best regards,

    I frequently carry a s&w 36.
There was a time when my regular carry gun was a Taurus 617.

    Let's see
    Ruger LCR 357
    Ruger GP 100
    Taurus tracker
    S&W model 10

I've carried all in the last year or so. The LCR is probably the one that I carry the most, especially in summer. It's one of my favorites.

I am huge revolver EDC/ advocate... but I will admit that during the riots, I was switching to my glock 19 and higher capacity semi's

But for normal 'rule or law' (what's that these days in a democrap town?) I do believe a revolver is perfect for me with a couple of caveats.
    - prefer a min of 6rds
    - prefer ~2-3" barrel lengths
    - prefer small/ compact boot grips for appendix carry
    - prefer 'hammerless' for no-snag but some i carry have hammers; I never shoot single-action so dont really need it

I will admit that I am struggling and still on my quest for my *GO TO* EDC, some I am currently trying out:
    - chiappa rhino 200D 357/9mm
    - smith 351pd 22mag, I WILL TRADE ANYONE WHO HAS A 351C
    - taurus 942 22mag,
    - taurus 692 2.5" 357/9mm,
    - taurus 617 2" 357/9mm (converted), you can use 986 moonclips, speedbeez has good/ cheap ones
    - taurus 856 38 spl - which I am currently getting converted to 9mm
    - ruger LCR 22LR w velocitors

    freq. back-up is a NAA ranger 2 w/ 2.5" barrel, 22mag in coin pocket

I had the 3" and dropped it for the 2.5" when it came out... only downside is the super-large rear adj sight that pokes you when you appendix carry, also wish they had a trit dot front sight option for it.
I am working on fixed 3d printed sights to resolve this... in the meantime, my taurus 617 gets me there

My Church Gun is a pair of SS Ruger BlackHawks in .357. One of the Deacons laughed at me for it, but when I got him outdoors where we could shoot, he stopped making fun of me. From the holster, I*m not only a lot faster on the draw, but WAAAY more accurate than he is with a Glock.
There*s nothing like the feel of a well-balanced single action revolver!
