UTG low profile 10/22 mount is NOT the answer
Bought a UTG low profile rail mount having the center channel suggesting one can use the iron sights thanks to the channel.
Wrong. Still cannot see the rear sight :-(
Also, the supplied screws are of dubious quality and design. The thread diameter is .003" less than Ruger's. The finish is a flat black, not blued steel. The underside of the heads are not flat, they are tapered like wood screws.
$7. I've seen 10/22 rails priced at $49. Guess there is a reason.
Posted as an FYI.There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

UTG is some of the crappiest junk ever made.
I think I have a stock 1022 rail. If you need it, just come by and pick it up-n.c.Crusader's local #556 South Central Asia chapter

Thanks for that nice offer. I have the stock rail I took off for the Utterly Trash Gyp install.
