Why no Black Powder Section on PAFOA?
With ammo running low, I am breaking out the black powder guns. Don't feel so bad about using that ammo.
But curious why isn't there a section devoted to black powder here? The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.

Doesn't need one. Handguns, rifles, shotguns, and reloading cover both, black powder and smokeless.
The inquiries for BP are rather low, those sections mentioned above cover it.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

You could always start an "official black powder" thread. That should be good for some discussion.

Re: Why no Black Powder Section on PAFOA?
I did this as well . I have several percussion rifles and cap and ball revolvers . So I looked at my supply of #10 percussion caps and had less than 100 . I started looking on the net ,all sold out . I did find them by calling around at Bobs Army Navy in Clearfield Pa. They were low on black powder though !

Re: Why no Black Powder Section on PAFOA?
Where does everyone get their powder? I am in Bucks and have 2 half cans that are almost 10 years old but last I looked real black powder was unobtanium locally. And whats with black powder costing $20 a pound (yea I know.....cry me a river). I thought with a muzzleloader I was set for life. I have molds for everything and hundreds of caps......But you couldn't find the powder even before covid.
