Ok. I just know a number of shooters that carry extra lbs. that help and participate in their clubs. Two of them have not only worked to grow the club but have run matches bringing in over $200,000 in the past 30 years.

Looks like a nice club with broad spectrum of ranges.

Re: Background Checks At Shooting Ranges?!
There are other ways people help their clubs other than work days. Some only help one day putting in their 2-4 hrs, than eat a hot dog or pizza for their work day.
I have, and others I know have put in hundreds of hours, setting up and running matches, working sportsman's shows and shooter days at retailers to help promote the club and their events.
Others help compiling scores, volunteering to help run events in a multitude of positions. Not everyone can help put a new roof on or build benches.
I belong to multiple clubs for a number of reasons. One is very close, others have longer ranges. Two allow steel targets, one allows guest shooters. One I belong to is just skeet and trap. Membership isn't required to shoot skeet or trap on open days; I have kept my membership to help support the club.
