Best 22lr for use with the CMMG Conversion Kit?

When using the CMMG 22lr conversion kit for an AR-15 are there any specific 22lr brands/options that work better than others for general range practice? Any to avoid?

I just had mine out the other day for the first time and put several hundred rounds of assorted 22 through it and really didn't see any changes in behavior. Overall it operated more reliably than I was expecting. I think I had one or three misfires across 3 magazines and 4 ammo types. I shot:

Federal Champion, 36GR Plated HP
Federal Target, 40GR Solid Lead
Remington Bucket of Bullets, 36GR Plated HP
Thunderbolt, 40GR Solid Lead

Just run of the mill ammo and it all ran out of the converted ARs pretty much as I'd expect out of my 10-22. I had low expectations for the Thunderbolt, but no issues.

Plan to spend some time cleaning!
