Re: Philadelpia Now Accepting LTCF Applications via Website
At least it is an option in an otherwise anti-gun city. Maybe it will help speed up Philly's processing of LTCF's.

The electronic submission process - first by email and now by Permitium - and the quick processing and approvals of LTCFs in Philadelphia (some in sub-96 hr periods) is due to Firearm Policy Coalitions lawsuit against the City - Fetsurka, et al v. City of Philadelphia, et al. - https://www.firearmspolicy.org/philadelphia

Re: Philadelpia Now Accepting LTCF Applications via Website
Just because the current administration has no interest in reducing homicide rates it doesn't mean they don't have penchant for gathering data in whatever places they can especially when it's so easy to do using third party contractors. This is something that NICS has been up to for many years now saying "they" as in the FBI (US Government) don't retain the information provided for a background check for purchases of firearms it doesn't mean they can't use a third party to store that information and then retrieve it from them whenever they deem it necessary.
Electronic data is only as secure as the people that are assigned to protect that data. It's easy to store, manipulate and cover the tracks of misuse. We've seen this abuse of electronic data over and over again by authorities that are responsible for following the law but learn ways of easily skirting those laws to collect that data. This is not a new thing.Last edited by JenniferG; January 29th, 2021 at 05:23 AM.

Obviously a Guardian slant. Detecting that isn't above anyone's pay grade. There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

First, you don*t know my pay grade.
Second, while I am used to being treated as just a payroll number, I have Civil Service Protection and representation of the FOP, which some on here despise, but I appreciate.
Third, the city is making things more expedient, probably mainly because of lawsuits filed, as mentioned by Sig for Life and all you can do is allege that it is some leftist shill org bent on outing gun owners. Paranoid much?
