Does it help the ammo shortage situation, and at a good price point?

Nothing new. A member here had a case of it and we were shooting it at a group shoot in 2007.
Hopefully a better product has come along. I believe the old polymer case stuff was unreliable.

If it's not reloadable (can only assume it is not) then it will probably be a mandate.

I think this is the stuff we were shooting.
I found it in a thread asking about "5.56 Ammo NOT to buy".

They've been trying to make poly cased ammo work since probably the 70's and imo they aren't any closer today.

    Drastically.

    Using cellulose most likely.

Entirely caseless ammunition is feasible as well.
I have a design of my own, but I've been instructed to not attempt it yet, legalities and such.
