Instead of N95 masks, why not a full or have face respirator? They have a better seal and you can re-use them. I use my full face all the time working on my house. You don't have to worry about eye protection or breathing in a bunch of dust. They have an exhaust valve so it doesn't protect others but I don't care about other people.

I didn't buy into the "my mask protects you, your mask protects me" thing either. I want to be protected and I don't trust you. Now, of course, I have a sticker on my jacket that says "I was shot twice" with a picture of two syringes. Moderna.
Sorta fun experiment on whether your mask will protect you from droplets. Find something that irritates your nose. Sniff. Put on your mask. Sneeze. If it's wet on the outside, it's not doing a terrific job of protecting. The experiment will also gross you out.

The only thing I did since last April was to get some additional solar panels, inverter, charge controllers and batteries. I had enough to run lights, chargers and HAM radios but wanted a little more to run a small freezer a couple hours a day. I also bought some spare stuff and put them in a metal "faraday cage" garbage can.

A respirator does not filter when you exhale. If I was wearing it and I had covid, it won't protect other people from my exhaled covid cooties. If it was a real pandemic and covid was killing everyone I could care less if my exhaled breath is filtered. So I don't care if other people are exposed to my exhaled breath as long as I'm protected when I inhale. That's what I'm saying. This is all hypothetical since I don't care about covid or masks.

I prepared after working the H1N1 pandemic in 2009-2010.

I can honestly say everything has worked out and there has been no need to modify what I have done.
