Except for the dreaded "assault bolts". Now muskets ... that's a standard capacity everyone can get behind.

That there is what you call a SNIPER rifle. There's no need for such accuracy! We need to BAN these dangerous weapons of war! Why put a huge telescope on a rifle for hunting MOOSE, which everybody knows are as big as a house! LOL!

After sandy hook, I bought and stacked mags cheap and deep. Admittedly, part of that is hoping to cash in on less prepared people if there's a run on mags again. Right after Sandy hook 30 round PMags could go for 100 a pop.

For some, that's 1 AR and 3 loaded magazines. For others, it's a gun room filled with 30 ARs and 50 crates of bulk ammo. I think most of us are somewhere in between (probably closer to the lesser... at least I am).
I've tried to "war game" what I could possibly need, and how quickly I'd need it. Ex: if I'm bombing through 30x10rnd mags (ban state!) quickly/consistently enough that I don't have time to reload any of them, shit has most definitely hit the fan and having more probably won't do much. Think World War Z zombies climbing the walls. I have "enough" to equip every rifle I own with 300 rounds in mags, and every hand gun with at least 150 rounds, without having to refill mags.

He has or had a concealed carry permit in NJ and in NJ that's a tough one to get if you're not a cop, or have connections, a state trooper mentioned that to me at a range I was running at Ft Dix one weekend back in the late 80's.

Over the weekend I looked around a bit and PSA, Primary Arms, and others were either out of AR mags or down to the last few. They look restocked today, but it would seem people are buying them up.

As far as I can gather, Pmags are plentiful and, more importantly, still selling at the usual prices that they have been selling for over the past 5+ years. The prices of Pmags will be my proverbial miner's canary... If their prices start to shoot up (and their availability start to decrease rapidly), then it would be time to get into the proverbial bunker.
