The amount time of time energy and money required to enforce it would be more work that it was worth.
The existing mags can't be regulated, registered, or taken away - that's why there are likely only two ways it will go - outright ban of the possession/use of them, or keep what you have, but no new manufacture/sale to civilians.
The latter does absolutely nothing to get rid of the three hundred bazillion mags that are out there, so why would they want to go that route?

I just got 6 of the Zastava AK polymer mags off the Zastava USA site. Its $20 for 1 and 6 for $100.
Anyone know if these will fit a Romanian made WASR AK 7.62x39.

Because passing useless gun laws that leave the door open for more intrusive gun laws (when they fail to do anything) is what they do?

Yeah, it's really impossible to say "what will happen".
I just think it's foolish to base your expectations on "what they did in the past".
This is now - they learned from their "mistakes" in the past.

It's anybody's guess as to how things will play out. I mean, who would have guessed that a pro gun president would ban an accessory that doesn't meet the definition of what it was being banned for?
With friends like that, how lucky will we be to have Biden making the call?

All my 30 round mags went down in the tragic boating accident with the guns.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

I bought spare 10 round glock mags on ebay a few years back because they were cheap to use at the range. I didn't figure they would become my regular magazines in the tyrannical garden state.

There will come a time when a bolt action rifle is literally worth its weight in gold.
The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.
