Re: Stocking up on mags
I took the approach of any legislation being modelled after CA, Chi., etc. laws, and figured the cheap mags and cheap ARs of 2018/2019 was good and affordable insurance. Should've tossed another grand or two towards ammo too, but I've got enough for a while. Those Global Ordnance AR steel mags for $5-7 are a freaking steal for JIC use...no reason why someone couldn't drop $100 and grab a dozen (or more, on a hot sale).

Re: Stocking up on mags
I have one for this exact reason. But just one for now.
By the way, shameless plug for the Small Arms Solutions channel on YT. Chris has two, soon to be three, in-depth videos on AR magazines. Which ones always work, which ones probably will, which ones might, and which ones don't.

Re: Stocking up on mags
This is the last mag I bought just a couple weeks ago. I'm still well stocked on mags from previous years.

Re: Stocking up on mags
All I*ve been buying is parts for future builds and the mags they use, since I expect some sort of crack down on the free trade of pieces of fun.

Re: Stocking up on mags
I don't care what they ban. I will not comply. They can come and take them from me. This is America for fucks sake. Why should I "stock up on 10 round mags" in fear they'll ban my 30 round mags. It'll be fucking time to use them, not bury them in the back yard.
