Default Several states consider becoming 'Second Amendment Sanctuaries'

Several states are considering becoming "Second Amendment Sanctuaries," Pennsylvania should be such a state.

Should be, but never will with King Wolf at the helm. We need a strong candidate next year.

One of them became a suppressor sanctuary not all that long ago and it didn't work out too well for the citizen. Secession is the only answer.

Sen Doug Mastriano fits that bill.

I (mostly*) agree, but much like Amanda Chase in VA, there isn't a broad enough appeal for a victory. With strong Christian ties and a fierce anti-abortion stance, there will be plenty of non-Democrats who won't cast a vote for them.

*After sponsoring busses for the 12/6 rally in DC, Mastriano strongly encouraged others to not attend events, but rather "remain prayerful" for the 10 days leading up to the inauguration. Even though I personally agree with many of his more conservative positions, that statement was too hypocritical for my tastes.

    We already have this:

§ 21. Right to bear arms.
The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.

To qualify 21 with sanctuary status, would set the precedent that it in the future, it could be further qualified and not necessarily in a direction this forum would appreciate.

He was big with that watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants right up until that protest in DC and he came under the gun, which is when his knees went wobbly. I don't like it either but he did what he had to do to let the fire die down. I agree that the abortion issue should be left under the carpet and mildly religious over overly religious would be preferable. I've been telling the religious crowd that God isn't going to help us on this one.

This "2A Sanctuary" thing is just fluff. So long as a "Sanctuary State" has any gun law, whether it be regulating carrying in any method, or types of firearms, it really means nothing. And the Supremacy Clause of the US Constitution would still rule supreme should the Federal government enact anything contradictory to state law.

Much like the manner in which state after state is legalizing recreational weed?
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government.
