Is the PUBLIC allowed in? Will they put a stop to the Pa. Supreme Court making their own laws? Day late and a dollar short.

Re: Public Hearing w/Dept of State on Guidance during the 2020 general elect
One of the issues that they hid behind, and will not get mentioned in this hearing, is the matter of the legislature going out of session from Nov 30 to Jan 5 in an election year. WTF? If they want a "built in" vacation, go ahead with your self-aggrandizement. But what if there are other legitimate needs for the legislature to hold hearings? How can they just say "oh well", we're not in session until Jan 5. That has to be fixed as well.
The senate race in my district (45th) between Brewster and Ziccarelli was adjudicated in federal court over the matter of westmoreland county disqualifying mail in ballots without handwritten dates and allegheny county which did not. We can't have inconsistency like that from county to county and precinct to precinct. That issue was the primary reason for state pre-emption of local firearms laws.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that they will say the election was free and fair, grab a couple clips for the media to run with then case closed and nobody will question it again going forward unless they want to be ridiculed for being a tinfoil hatter. politics is a farce and full of self serving dickheads that should be hanging from a rope.

Re: Public Hearing w/Dept of State on Guidance during the 2020 general elect
They only get away with that kind of behavior if we let them. I've already contacted my Rep and Sen letting them know in no uncertain terms that my expectation is for them to participate in an effort to amend Act 77 and clean up the mess that was the last election.
Look what happened to Senator Aument after his office was inundated with emails and calls from people who were enraged by the fact that he blew off Trump's invitation to that white house meeting. He "got religion" and did a complete about face. That kind of pressure does work.

Regardless, fixing our voting in PA has to be our top priority along with preserving the 2A.
Do not let up on your Reps about fixing this, or the Dems will win EVERY election forever. If you want Fetterman as Governor and Shapiro as Senator, just sit back and do nothing about it.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Hopefully they actually follow through.
Pennsylvania GOP Moves to Repeal No-Excuse Mail-In Ballot Provisions
Republican state lawmakers in Pennsylvania have announced they will introduce legislation to repeal provisions in the law that allows for no-excuse mail-in ballots.
*Shortly, we intend to introduce legislation repealing the no-excuse mail-in ballot provisions enacted in Act 77 of 2019,* state Sens. Patrick Stefano and Doug Mastriano said in a Jan. 21 memorandum.
