Ecstatic that Halterman was found not guilty on all counts. The 2 intruders were in the area the night before, allegedly exploring Penn Hills when they ventured onto his property which is 2.3 miles away (nowhere near Halterman's home), waited until after dark to enter the home, etc. are all indications that they were up to no good. Regardless, they entered someone else's home without invitation. It's truly tragic that a young man lost his life, but it was the result of something he did of his own volition.

Doesn't matter how abandoned it is. The intruders have no right to be there. Fuck them.

The only tragedy that I see is that the property owner was charged.

That was a tragedy as well, as is the fact that he lost 2 years of his life. I hope he sues the s**t out of every agency/entity involved. Nonetheless, I can't find any joy in the fact that some 20 y/o guy lost his life over this.

A real dumb ass choice to prosecute. Who Hires these assholes? Or elects them.
