Airguns anyone?
So, given the current state of affairs, I'm contemplating buying a decent pcp airgun. Figure my budget will be between $300 and $400. I'm diving into a world in which I don't know a ton, but figured, nows as good a time as any. I'd really prefer to stick with something that is pcp vs a springer or air piston. My dad dives and has the ability to fill tanks for free, and he has a small tank he doesn't really use. Caliber isn't too much of a concern, since it's going to be primarily a plinking gun (and 22 cal pellets cost almost as much as a box of 22lr). I'm leaning towards the umarex gauntlet or something similar. What's everyone shooting and what does everyone recommend?
Mods, I wasn't quite sure where to place this, so feel free to move to the proper forum.

Not exactly what you put in OP, but kids have/had Crossman Furys. 1200 fps, single shot break barrel cocking in .177.
Have taken many groundhogs with them. Quiet, accurate durable. An enjoyable and inexpensive afternoon of plinking.Small hand made batches of beef jerky...Mountain Meats and More on Face Book

I have a Ruger Air Hawk, it's made by some other company that I don't remember right now.
It's my go to for backyard rodents.
There's a couple of co2 pistols around here and a Drozd blackbird for entertainment.

RWS Diana 48. It’s a side cocker, not a break barrel or PCP.

Re: Airguns anyone?
I have a break action 22 cal nitro piston. It mainly serves as a garden defense gun. Taken out a couple groundhogs. I plan on shooting that in the mean time, but its trigger leaves a lot to be desired, even after a being modified. That's why I'm not really interested in the spring guns.
