I went through this thought process the last time there was an ammo shortage. And I was just thinking that I haven't used these rifles and should find them new homes.

If you are interested I have a Crossman Discovery .22 PCP with the high pressure pump that is either new or shot a couple of times. And then I have a Logan Solo that is also a PCP but it is a higher end rifle. Let me know if you have any interest.

I have a few PCPs...if you want a compact PCP take a look at the Benjamin WoodsWalker...you can shoot it as a pistol and it comes with a carbine stock as well...that little PCP has killed more critters than my other PCPs. You can use a hand pump or tank. I have both and will tell you pumping sucks, especially if your rifle has a big air tank.

The AV Avenger is nice at $300 and it's full of features. I went with a .25 for my Avenger...I'm probably going to buy a compressor as the PSI for the Avenger is 4500 PSI and my tank does do that and no way I'd try to pump.

I went simpler, RWS Diana 34 - a long time classic. It's deadly.

I was thinking about the woodswalker, and it looks like there are tons of mods out there for it, including a folding stock adapter. The av Avenger sounds like it'd be something to look into as well.

After doing some searching, I found the Benjamin fortitude gen 2 at a price I was comfortable with. It's a regulated pcp, which should mean it's more consistent shot to shot. It's on about a 2 week backorder, but that's better than most, with some being backordered through April. Appears a lot of people are looking at alternative and cheaper plinking methods.

That's nice. Is it heavy for walking the woods? Thinking about one for small game

The 22 cal. is 8 pounds all wood and steel. It is an adult size rifle. I would not want to walk all day caring the rifle but I like a little heaver rifle for accuracy because of the forward then back recoil of the piston.

That's beefy and I can see what you're saying. My Henry Frontier is 7 lbs.

I also have a AF Talon with a lot of mods...with LDC/moderator, it's quiet. My Woods Walker is super quiet and I just killed a rabbit in my back yard last week with it.
