Somethings kicking off in Tobyhanna tonight. Cops want people to shelter in place. At this time there are no suspects or leads.

Police are investigating multiple shootings in the Tobyhanna and Coolbaugh Township areas, according to Mount Pocono mayor Michael Penn.

Police haven't confirmed anything yet, but Penn says rapid gunfire was reported at the Dollar General in Tobyhanna, Stogie's Smoke Shop in Coolbaugh Township, A Pocono Country Place and others.

Penn says there are four known shooting victims at four or five crime scenes-- and the shooting suspects, as of 7:30 PM, are "at large."

This is all I have in the way of a report. First time I have ever seen the publication. There seem to have been shootings at several locations, not a particularly common thing.

No suspects have been arrested, but police confirmed persons of interest were being questioned.

Police are investigating if the shootings are connected.

4 separate hits, using different vehicles sounds like someone is consolidating power. a few months back I was ate Weis on 940 with the wife. she was just coming out of the store as I was taking the food to the car and putting it in the trunk when I hear 5 distinct shots. stopped what I was doing and got the wife. Seems a couple of big thinkers were having a disagreement with another Mensa selectee at section 8 housing behind the KFC. The were chasing and shooting at him as he ran towards the Ollies store there. everyone around be was oblivious, looking down anther phones going about there lives. And my friends wonder why I carry almost all the time.

As for PCP, Pocono County Prison, I am far from surprised, something is always going on there and those that live their do their best at deflecting the bad stuff. These past few months there has been a huge increase in shootings, some not reported and auto accidents, roll overs, rock and street strikes and general piss poor driving from this unfamiliar with the roads, road conditions or lack of street lights. Business as usual in the new territories for the criminals as always.
