Re: Anybody have a light on their AR?
I left the light off my AR. A shotgun is my home defense and the light is on that. I think the smaller lights with the built in mounts are much better and lighter with less fiddly parts to mess with and all the mount screws use the same wrench or better yet decent thumbscrews where no tool is necessary to mount and dismount the light. Getting it onto the left side where you can reach it with your support hand and not interfere with a sling or sling mount is another consideration.

Re: Anybody have a light on their AR?
I just have a Vortex optics scope on mine at this point. A mounted light is a good idea though.

Re: Anybody have a light on their AR?
I have the LAPG light that Emptymag showed on page 1 on my Ruger PC. Sits just in front of fore end handle and can be toggled easily with thumb for momentary or full on. 800 lumens does a fine job illuminate the intended range of the gun and goes well with the red dot. Very reasonably priced also. TLR 8 light/laser for bedside pistol.

PWS (Primary Weapons Systems)
It's their CQB linear compensator/flash hider
It's more than a flash can - there's an internal expansion chamber and it actually mitigates muzzle flash very well.
I had seen my share of "fireballs" produced by short barreled guns and while it makes for a good laugh at the range, I decided to spend the money on this thing in order to prevent fireballs. It works.
That's the old version. Current version here.

This is the video that convinced me to give it a shot.
