Re: How do you store your ammo?
In ammo cans. Recently shot some ammo that was sitting in cans for 10+ years. Zero issues.

Re: How do you store your ammo?
Johnstown flood - 1977
Our basement had about 4 feet of muddy water in it, submerging most everything, including some of my dad's ammo.
About 3 years later, I found a paper bag (lunch bag) half full of 22LR - it was ammo that had been submerged - boxes discarded, and ammo tossed in the bag, which then sat on a work bench in a damp basement.
I took it out to the back yard and shot it.
Worked.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Ammo cans in an Eagle double-walled flammable materials cabinet like this. I bought it used from a painting contractor that went out of business.

Re: How do you store your ammo?
This.
I gots ammo in peanut butter jars plastic coffee containers an ammo boxes.
Plastic mayo jars work really well. Not too heavy , see thru, flexible so not fragile like glass, and mostly airtight..
I'm relatively nutso when it comes to recyclng and reusing things. If i havent used it 3 times by the time it goes in the trash, i haz a sad.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

I keep my ammo in it's boxes, and loaded in mags in a closet. My coffee is stored in locked cylinders inside a locked fridge.

Re: How do you store your ammo?
I have a few 50 cal, 7.62 and 5.56 cans that never got turned back in left over from the nights that I had the range at Ft Dix open after the ammo supply closed for the day. They took the brass back the next trip but did not want the cans. Gave a few away to friends and neighbors that used them to store their truck and car chains or whatever. Did pickup a few of the Cabela 100 round plastic pistol ammo cases, they were on sale for $4, they stack well. I keep the basement at 65% which works out well for my two cabinet humidors for my cigars.
