I just took some. 300 winmag and .308 brass out of the tumbler a couple days ago.
The PA10 is grouping about a minute with imr4064 and Sierra 180 gr TGK Ganechangers.

The .300, I was dicking around with Bergers and RL25 and wasn't impressed.
I loaded 6 rounds with a midcharge of H100V and 180 Accubonds and got a couple 1 inch groups so I think im sticking with the h100v since I got 5 pounds of it. I'll work those loads up 3 tenths at a time. I need to inventory how many accubonds, bergers and Barnes 180s I have

I powder coated them using the shake and bake method. Basically shake bullets in a plastic bowl with coating for 1.5-2 minutes and baking in a toaster oven for 20 minutes. Eastwood powders made the powder coating and I'm having good luck so far with the rally wheel silver, Ford light and dark blue, lime and medium green, bright pink and maroon.

changed to walnut media in the tumbler so next batch will be much cleaner looking brass

I tumbled and sized 55 .300 winmag cases.
Trimmed to.length, primer pockets cleaned, chamfered and reamed the necks.

I.may start only doing 2 bullet groups given the availability of components.
I'm down to my last 150 accubonds
I do have 180 gr Barnes, Sierra Gamechangers and some Bergers in 180, 185 and 190.


I may start loading only 2 shot groups till I dial something in close at 2 and 300.


Maybe a hot 30-30 load for elk. Ha.

Did a range day with both my .300 winmag rifles yesterday.

I bought a Leupold Vx3 4.5 to 14 x 50 that I mounted on my Savage 111 2 days ago but it was too dark to bore sight.
I set up for 100 yards and shot one round to see if I'd hit paper. I did not.
Pulled the bolt, bore sighted on my 100 yd target, adjusted windage and elevation once and shot this target. the left had 2 in the bull which I couldnt see and the one I could. I shot at a second target to mverify I was hitting something and transposed that hit onto this target..

I placed another target at 200 and got that result.

I'll probly tweak it before elk season.

Yesterday, I had loaded 8 powder charges for the Tikka T3X and decided on using 180 grain accubonds instead of the bergers

The second load (target) was supposed to be the most accurate by Nosler data.
The first 4 2 shot groups look promising.
I think I'm almost good to go.
I'll run both rifles to 200 and 300 and hope to get to a farm and try 500

27hand, you going to try the IMR 4350 in the Tikka and would you like to try some 168 grain hornady a-max?
