308 winchester, 152 grain hammer Hunter, 49.2 grains cfe223, oal 2.83, fed 210 primer, velocity 2900 fps out of a Tikka t3 22 inch barrel.

Found a case of the old aluminum capped 170 grain 30-30 which I*m still using. I load deepcurls for the neighbors when they cry that they can*t find ammo 2 days before the opener. Bums!

6 weeks to go and I*ll be on my way for another exciting bull elk hunt in New Mexico. Browning western hunter, 7mm mag with federal 155 ascent factory ammo shot the best so that*s what I*ll use. I tried the 131 hammer hunter but don*t think it*s heavy enough, I*ll be doing more testing for sure. Back up rifle is a Montana X2 in 264 win mag. I*ll Be thinking about ya 27hand. I keep buying points for Wyoming and don*t plan on quitting yet.

    Man, good luck to ya.
I was pricing a moose hunt in Newfoundland yesterday.

It's a little steep at between 9 and 10K total. 35 hour drive or 1K to fly and ship meat back for another X$

    Still looking at options.

My biggest problem is not having enough ceiling height for a bull elk or moose mount but did buy all 3 Pa elk tag applications just because.
I'll see what I have for 170 gr Deep Curls for 30-30. I should have a few hundred left and hardly use that rifle if you need some.

A month out for my early archery here. I hope this backyard 12 pt remembers the address.

The .300 Savage needs some loads too.
I was running 70 gr of I4350 under 180 accubonds but a few tenths down might do me better fir accuracy. I should shoot more.

I have a box each of 180, 185 and 190 Bergers vlds I might give a try for the Savage.

For now, I got enough loaded for most of my rifles. I'm still finalizing the 7mm load, checking the Tikka at 2 and 300 and tweaking the other 300 WM. Load.

Tomorrow I'll put another batch of .44 mags together using Lilgun and XTPs.

40 rounds of 6.5 PRC for RPR. 140 grain hornady eld-m, 60 grains of Magpro, hornady once fired brass, Winchester lrp, 3.315 BTO, should be around 3000 fps. Toal rounds for the RPR 100, another 120 rounds of factory hornady for Seekins Havak bravo in 6.5 creedmoor. I*ll be with 4 friends Tuesday and Wednesday out in the middle of the state for some 1k fun.

200 9mm target rounds that shoot nicely from my guns. Xtreme 115gr plated RN boolits, CCI SP primers, 4.3 gr Titegroup, 1.135 OAL, all purchased before the 2020 price adjustments. Less than 12 cents/round.

Nice, if I don't load my cast ones, I load xtreme as I picked up several boxes a few years back. Titegroup has worked well for those target loads although I think I remember about 3.9 grains. I've also used green dot and unique.

Last thing I loaded was .357 magnum hunting rounds and the next thing I'll load will be 20 gauge with my new Lee shotgun loader. I've got enough supplies for about 500 rounds.

I haven't loaded anything lately, but I did some unloading!

Bought a box of random ammo at a flea market for $5. Probably had 150 various rounds in it so I said what the heck, maybe something will be useful.

About 100 of the rounds are dimensionally .7.62x51, but the headstamps are 1930s and 1940s military .30-06. They are not early 7.62x51. Primers look to be original and the bullet is cast lead. Hmmmmm. I pulled one and found it was a 165-ish grain cast bullet, appropriate diameter for .308/7.62 caliber, with a gas check, and about 20 grains of a ball powder. Hmmmmm. I obviously was not going to shoot these, so I pulled some more. Unfortunately the gas checks are staying in most of the cases or were already pushed into the case and not going to do their job. So it looks like someone trimmed and resized a bunch of .30-06, probably blanks, into some .308 or 7.62 nato plinking loads. I think they were blanks because the box also contained a lot of surplus .30-06 blanks with similar headstamps. So nothing really useful will come of them. I doubt whomever did the trimming and resizing annealed the cases, so they could split at the neck when fired. Maybe I will remove the primers and add a projectile to make some into a belt of display ammo.

Just a box of .45acp 200gr SWC to get my press re-set. Decided to get back into it and breakout a few primers from the archives. Low on Bullseye so I'm trying some WST. Fellow from Mastercast swears by it, we'll see.

Mike from Mastercast recommended 4.7grs for accurate load that made major. It was accurate, but snappy. Going to step it down to 4.5 or even 4.2grs if the cases don't get too sooty. I'm just punching paper.

Was almost out of varmint rounds. 22/250, 50 gr Sierra varmiter, 37.5 grs. H414, WLP.
Medium load that is very accurate in my rifle.
As a side note looks like Hodgdon has dropped H414. Since it's just a different lot of Win. 760 it should not be a problem.
Wonder if we'll see that in their other powders that are basically the same but different lots?
