Why can't you just buy a finger printing kit at Amazon and do your own? I know a lot of people do their own for NFA stuff, so is this any different?

I think they require a LE agency.

My PSP barracks does them. They have certain days and hours. I can confirm as I just had some done a couple of weeks ago.

Chicom flu has really screwed the pooch on places to get finger-printed. Had a helluva time myself as I recently got an AZ non-res . Eventually found that King Shooters in KoP does them by an off-duty LEO. All prints are for the FBI so not sure why one state would require a police agency when another doesn't.
