Not to mention if he was involved in an accident resulting in bodily harm and/or a fatality.
That liability is far worse than the fines the DOT can impose.

Yep
Once you have a CDL, your beholden to the dot. When it becomes legal federally, I don't know how they are gonna handle it. I'm sure it'll be a cluster fuck for quite a while though.

Update: She did let her weed card expire since...surprise, government taxed weed sold at dispensaries is exponentially more expensive and less potent. She was able to successfully purchase her first firearm with no issues.

Unfortunately. Supposedly there are things you can drink that will clean you out before a test.

One good thing the Democrats will do is legalize weed. Then this won't matter.

I think most of them require some time to work though. DOT drug/alcohol checks are unscheduled and random. Even our dispatchers at work don't know who or when. They just show up with a list of names and wait for you to get back, or get scheduled home depending on the length of the trip. It's the accident that would get you to. One is required anytime you're involved in an accident, your fault or not. Someone runs a light and hits your trailer, your getting a piss test. If you're hot you might even be held liable. Even if not you're out of a job with very few prospects of ever getting hired as a driver again.

It doesn't matter in upper darby. The new mayor (D) banned drug testing for employees.

I smoked a few days ago, I get into a accident today, now I'm screwed. I think this whole thing is BS, but thats another thread topic.
