In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796

It is more gun oriented and the knowledge base there far exceeds what you will find here. No offense to this site. Just a fact.
LOL, so he can hear "Your grandad's rifles are worn out junk, I'll give you $300 for the collection."

google is your friend, search details from the markings, and features ie caliber (22lr, 30-30,308), action (break action, lever action, bolt action), city/state ( Chicopee Falls, MA / Utica, NY), sometimes you have better luck with less details, others more

You are absolutely 100 % wrong. Obviously you spend zero time there. Maybe you were thinking of arfcom. That seems to be your kind of site.

I didn't even know the high road still existed.
Never comes up in search results like poofa and arfcom regularly do.

Anyway, where's an old coot when you need him?
Noah seems pretty knowledgeable about guns that were invented after he was born.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Not sure what part of York your in but a short drive will get you to mechanicsburg ordnance. Randy the shop owner has been spot on for me and others with valuations. Can’t say I’ve ever seen him charge for this as well. Take a ride and see him you won’t be disappointed. 717-766-9606.
