I find it hard to believe that Georgia is farther to the left than Pennsylvania.

It's not Georgia. It's the powers that be, in Georgia.

Democrats were singing the same tune in 2016 when Republicans took control of the house senate and presidency., Republicans sang the same tune in 2008 when the democrats took control of all 3 and eventually got 60 in the senate for a filibuster proof majority

It*s not good right now and the break we have had the last 4 years from serious encroachments on the 2nd is over. But politics has ways of changing just like that. After 2 years of all democrat control things can flip again. As of now the filibuster is still in play so the democrats do not have unfettered control.

Things suck right now but it is not the end.

What scares me are all the bills that the house pasted that McConnell did not bring to the Senate floor to vote on. Now they will have a very good chance of passing with Schummer in charge. Like the Toomey -Manchin gun proposal. And many others.

There you go! I think any kind of semi-auto gun ban with mandatory buybacks will have a very low compliance rate - such laws will just be words on paper. This could get bloody.
Relationships between men and women can be difficult - but not impossible.

I am concerned also. The toomey bill was voted on but they needed 60 votes and it did not pass. They still don't have the 60 filibuster proof votes. Its the same reason Republicans could not get certain legislation passed in 2017- 18.
